How to get a list of companies by industry and country with registry IDs

Send a discovery request with industries and locations (and optionally company_sizes) to POST /api/v1/discoveries, wait for the job to finish, then read the companies from GET /api/v1/discoveries/{jobId}/prospects. Each company carries registry_id and registry_source when an official register for its country matched; companies without a match come back with those fields empty rather than guessed.

Needs a Telegram account · introductory offer: about €2 for 200 searches (100 Stars).

The request

{
  "query": "Food and beverage producers that run their own production lines",
  "industries": ["manufacturing", "agriculture_food_production"],
  "locations": ["Czech Republic"],
  "company_sizes": ["small", "medium"],
  "maxResults": 8
}

Only query is required. locations takes country names, company_sizes takes micro, small, medium, large or enterprise and is a preference rather than a strict filter, and maxResults is 1 to 200. Send it with Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN and an X-Idempotency-Key header; the API quick-start shows the token exchange and the full curl command.

Reading the registry fields

Field Meaning
registry_id The company's identifier in its government register, where matched
registry_source Which register that identifier came from
legal_form The legal form (for example GmbH or s.r.o.), from the register entry where available

Registry coverage differs by country. A match is accepted only when the register's company name is close enough to the candidate's and, for several countries, when the identifier passes that country's checksum; otherwise the ID is left empty. Never treat an empty registry_id as proof that a company is not registered.

A real example

The Czech food producers run shows this exact request, the eight companies that came back (some with a registry ID, some without) and the candidates that were rejected, with the reasons.
